Integrative Counselling for all.
Integrative Counselling for all.
A saying that has helped me immensely on my journey through counselling is "Life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you react to it." This is because I may not be able to influence everything that happens in life, however, I have a choice in my beliefs and my reaction to a situation.
I accessed counselling from a young age and can honestly say it was a life changing experience for me. I knew then, that counselling was what I was destined to do. I am very passionate about counselling and the benefits it can have.
I may not have a magic wand, but I do have a safe space, a non judgemental approach and an empathetic viewpoint and truly want the best outcomes for all my clients. In my counselling sessions I work integratively, meaning I work with issues around the past, present and future, in a way that works best for the client.
I am registered member of the British association for Counselling and psychotherapy, and this means I agree to adhere to their Ethical Framework. I hold a FDA In counselling as well as qualifications in understanding Autism, safehandling of medications, children & young peoples mental health and safeguarding. I also have a level 3 first aid at work certificate. All certification is viewable upon request.
